Getting from St. Thomas airport (STT) to Cruz Bay takes a taxi and a ferry, about an hour in total.
Your route from the airport to the island
There is no ferry at the airport itself. Take a taxi from the arrivals taxi stand to a ferry dock. Most guests go to Red Hook, a 30 to 40 minute ride, where passenger ferries to Cruz Bay leave about every hour from early morning until late at night and cross in 15 to 20 minutes. Crown Bay is only 5 minutes from the airport, but its ferry has a limited schedule and takes about 35 minutes. Check current ferry times before you fly, and bring some cash for taxis and tickets. From the Cruz Bay ferry dock, Dolphin Suites is about a 5-minute walk.
